Marin and Sons’ philosophy consists of a strong work ethic and an unwavering commitment to give back to the community. In 2009, Marin and Sons team was appointed to the Executive Board of The Boys & Girls Club of Miami Dade County and was also chosen to be the chairman of the organization’s Development Committee. As a result of these efforts and commitment, we were honored with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Florida New Board Member of the Year.
Marin and Sons was recognized as one of the South Florida Business Leader magazine’s Top 100 Small Businesses in South Florida. In 2012, the Latin Builders Association named Marin and Sons as the Government Consulting Firm of the Year in South Florida. Additionally, Marin and Sons team has been named one of South Florida Business Leader Magazine’s Movers & Shakers in the business community.
Marin and Sons has also been recognized for their involvement with various other local charities and organizations including Teach for America and the Baptist Hospital Foundation. Most recently, Marin and Sons team was elected President of the Overtown Community Optomist Club aimed at helping inner-city kids through sports. We were also appointed to the Board of Directors of Camillus House, an entity that aims to provide humanitarian services to the homeless community of Miami-Dade County. In 2010, the board was responsible for raising millions of dollars to benefit Camillus House programs and the construction of a new facility. In September of 2014, Marin and Sons was named to the Overtown Community Optimist Club Wall of Fame for spearheading the transformation of today’s youth into tomorrow’s leaders.
